We have re opened our showroom, by appointment only.
Part of the covid measures that we have put in place are allocated time slots for both a simple (up to) 15 minute visit and look around, and an extended 30 minute appointment. Please only book the extended appointment if you know you will need longer to browse and have a big shopping list!
We have made the following changes, enabling us to provide a safe and enjoyable shopping experience. Anybody who is unable to follow these rules, should not book an appointment at this time.
Additional information, added 4/7/2020:
Your visit may be you and one other person/group. If you wish to have the showroom to yourself during your allocated time slot, that is still absolutely fine, please just let us know and we will ensure that the slot is specifically for you. We have space in our shop for up to 10 customers to remain distanced, but do not want to over crowd. The maximum number of customers in store at any one time is 6.
IF YOU HAVE ANY SYMPTOMS , THINK YOU MAY HAVE CORONAVIRUS, ARE AWAITING COVID TEST RESULTS OR HAVE BEEN CONTACTED BY TRACK AND TRACE, PLEASE DO NOT VISIT.
By appointment only
We recently did a poll to ask who would make an appointment to visit and who would rather queue. A large majority chose appointments, and that is how we will safely move forward. It wasn’t unusual on a busy day to have 15/20 people in the shop at one time, sometimes more, and that won’t be possible with social distancing. We’re conscious that we could easily have very large queues and long wait times, this could require an additional staff member to control and poses health & safety issues if too many people are queuing in the car park.
PLEASE DO NOT turn up at the shop without an appointment. All appointments are to be booked in advance, via the online booking system.
We are unable to offer a walk in system.
If you do not have an appointment you will not be able to enter the shop.
Your appointment time is set. Arriving early or late will not allow you any additional time. If you appointment is 10am - 10:15am, this is the time. Arriving at 10:10am, will then only give you a 5 minute time slot. If you do arrive early, please come to the main entrance and we will let you know if the showroom is still occupied or if you can enter early.
When In store, please stick to social distancing rules. Anybody continuously not distancing will be politely asked to leave. This is for everybody’s safety. Our showroom floor will be clearly taped at 2 metre points as a reference.
Everybody entering the shop will be required to sanitise their hands before entry and when leaving. We have an automatic dispensing unit of which will be at the entrance to the shop and we ask you to use this. If you are unable to use our sanitiser, you must provide your own sufficient sanitiser or a new pair of gloves.
We totally understand how you want to “touch and feel” products, however, please refrain from this where at all possible.
For us, one of the hardest parts about re-opening is going to be this. We want to be able to help you as much as possible and we will continue to do so, if you require assistance please ask a member of staff, and we will do so, from a 2 metre minimum distance.
Large and Heavy Items
We will be unable to help lift any large items to your vehicle.
If your item/s require a 2 person lift and you are shopping alone, we can arrange for local delivery, with two people from the same household. Depending on the area, there may be a small charge for this, but we are NOT aiming to profit from this.
We will not be accepting ANY cash at all. Change will be removed from our till.
We accept all forms of contactless payment and all cards excluding AMEX.
Any gift vouchers purchased after 1st February 2020 shall remain valid until 31st December 2020.
If you have a gift voucher, these can now also be used online, please contact us if you do not have an online code. If you have a voucher purchased before 1st February 2020, please email us the details and we will review these on a case by case basis.
If you need to use our customer toilets during your visit, please inform a member of staff so we can complete our post use surface cleaning.
It should go without saying, but please wash your hands after using the toilet!
You will be served from behind a screen. We have a wrapping & packing area - please leave this for staff only.
If you are purchasing items of which will not fit through the screen gap, we will ask you to place them at the packing area and return to the screen whilst our staff member packs your items. We will then leave them there for your collection once we have moved out of the way.
This will be clearly signed
This is new to everybody.
We have done what we think is necessary to ensure our staff & customers are safe and feel safe whilst in our shop.
If anybody has any feedback, negative or positive, we want to hear it. We are welcome to adaptations where we consider them to be relevant and suitable.
We ask, if you have any sort of feedback, to please email this to us.
Things may take a little longer than usual , please bear with our staff as we all adapt to this new way of working.
We hope this does not sound too strict! We have worked very hard to ensure we are as safe to re open as is possible during the current situation.
