Covid 19 Update
Covid 19 update - Showroom
please see our delivery update page for mail order updates.
Our showroom is now re open.
During peak times, you may be asked to wait to enter store. This is to keep everybody safe during the current situation.
If the weather is against us, where possible we ask customers to wait in their vehicle so they are warm and dry and we keep a vehicle waiting list, a member of staff will then come to your vehicle when it is your turn to enter store.
It is nobody’s fault that we are having to do this and any verbal abuse to staff will not be tolerated. We allow customers to enter store in a strict rotation of a first come first served basis and nobody will get priority simply because they are not patient enough to wait their turn.
(Yes, we are putting this bluntly!)
The maximum number of customers in store at any one time is 8. (Excluding small children and babies)
IF YOU HAVE ANY SYMPTOMS , THINK YOU MAY HAVE CORONAVIRUS, ARE AWAITING COVID TEST RESULTS OR HAVE BEEN CONTACTED BY TRACK AND TRACE, PLEASE DO NOT VISIT.
Face Masks / Coverings
From 24th July 2020 the Government will make it compulsory that masks are worn in shops. If you are not wearing a mask we will unfortunately be unable to allow you to enter the store. (In line with the rules on public transport, children under 11 and those with certain disabilities will be exempt.)
We will have disposable masks available in store, of which we will sell at cost price if you forget to bring a mask. (We are absolutely NOT profiting from this)
When In store, please stick to social distancing rules. Anybody continuously not distancing will be politely asked to leave. This is for everybody’s safety. Our policy remains at 2 metres.
Everybody entering the shop will be required to sanitise their hands before entry and when leaving. We have an automatic dispensing unit of which will be at the entrance to the shop and we ask you to use this. If you are unable to use our sanitiser, you must provide your own sufficient sanitiser or a new pair of gloves.
We totally understand how you want to “touch and feel” products, however, please refrain from this where at all possible.
We want to be able to help you as much as possible and we will continue to do so, if you require assistance please ask a member of staff, and we will do so, from a 2 metre minimum distance.
We accept all forms of contactless payment and all cards excluding AMEX.
Cash is accepted however we are trying to keep this to a minimum where possible.
Any gift vouchers purchased after 1st February 2020 shall remain valid until 31st December 2020.
If you have a gift voucher, these can now also be used online, please contact us if you do not have an online code. If you have a voucher purchased before 1st February 2020, please email us the details and we will review these on a case by case basis.
If you need to use our customer toilets during your visit, please inform a member of staff.
It should go without saying, but please wash your hands after using the toilet!
You will be served from behind a screen. We have a wrapping & packing area - please leave this for staff only.
If you are purchasing items of which will not fit through the screen gap, we will ask you to place them at the packing area and return to the screen whilst our staff member packs your items.
This is new to everybody.
We have done what we think is necessary to ensure our staff & customers are safe and feel safe whilst in our shop. We are constantly adapting.
If anybody has any feedback, negative or positive, we want to hear it. We are welcome to adaptations where we consider them to be relevant and suitable.
We ask, if you have any sort of feedback, to please email this to us.
Things may take a little longer than usual , please bear with our staff as we all adapt to this new way of working.
We hope this does not sound too strict! We have worked very hard to ensure we are as safe to re open as is possible during the current situation.
